After all the hard work of CAWG volunteers, local citizens and supporters abroad, the Malia Municipality has agreed to:
Change the 2009 Budget coding from ”Leaflets” to ”Vet Costs”
Increase the 2009 Budget from 2000EUR to 3000EUR
Include stray dog control in the 2010 budget if approved by the council
Leaflets and Posters are being distributed to inform citizens and CAWG volunteers will also assist with the dog catching procedure the 1st time this is carried out. Dogs will be caught, neutered, vaccinated and tattooed before being returned to the area they were found in.
Thank you to everyone who helped us make this possible!!!
